August 2008 Recently, the AIC(UK) adopted its first Press and Public Relations policy; a simple policy document outlining the manner and means by which we should communicate with the media. The document also set out some priorities for action, the first of which was to contact leading commentators on religious affairs to let them know that ‘we are here’ and able to comment on matters concerning the Anglican tradition from a different position to that of the State Church. A press release to that extent is now with The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Mirror, The Daily Express, BBC Radio 4, ITV (Granada), and, The Church Times.
